ABOUT
Lalaga Collective — meaning to weave, to bring together — is more than our name. It is the philosophy behind everything we do.
Lalaga Collective Limited was founded on the belief that the strongest outcomes come from connection: between people, between knowledge systems, and between generations. Our name is a homage to our Samoan and Niuean heritage, drawn from the practice of weaving — a tradition passed down through hands, patience, and purpose. Just as a fine mat or basket is formed strand by strand, our work brings together consultancy, professional learning, governance, and events into a single, connected offering for the communities and organisations we serve.
This philosophy is reflected in our logo. At its centre sits a Pacific flower, a symbol of family, stability, and the interweaving of patterns — a visual echo of lalaga itself.
The four petals represent our four strands or pillars: Consultancy, Professional Learning & Mentoring, Governance, and Events & Rental Hire — distinct in their focus, but woven from the same root. The colours and shapes carry a deeper, more personal meaning too: they are chosen in honour of past family members, a quiet acknowledgment that this business carries our family and our aiga with it into every piece of work we do.
Lalaga Collective is a family-connected enterprise in the fullest sense — built on relationships, shaped by heritage, and committed to weaving together the strengths of the people and organisations we work alongside. When you work with us, you're not just engaging a consultancy. You're joining a pattern already in motion — one grounded in culture, family, and collective purpose.
Growing people, strengthening organisations, and creating sustainable futures through leadership, education, and service.

Lalaga — to weave, to bring together.
Every strong weave begins with a pattern passed down, and is held together by four things: understanding the shape of what’s needed, passing on the skill to build it, a frame strong enough to hold it, and a gathering where it’s finally seen. That’s the philosophy behind Lalaga Collective Limited — four pillars, woven from one root.
About the logo
At the centre of our mark is a four-petal flower, framed within a diamond and encircled in gold — each element chosen with intention while representing our family of six.
The four petals represent our four strands or pillars of support — Consultancy, Professional Learning & Mentoring, Governance, and Events & Rental Hire — distinct offerings woven from a single root.
The flower is a Pacific symbol of family, stability, and the interweaving of patterns, echoing lalaga — to weave, to bring together.
The gold ring reflects continuity and the enduring nature of the connections we hold, while the diamond at the centre honours past family members, carrying their memory into the heart of everything we do.
Together, the mark is a quiet reminder: every strand of our work is connected, and every connection is grounded in family. Explore how each strand comes together below exploring our four pillars.
The Root — Where the pattern begins
Heritage, family, and grounded expertise
Every weave starts from something already known — patterns passed down, techniques inherited. This is the "why" behind Lalaga Collective

Our Process
-

STRAND 1: Consultancy
Reading the Pattern
Understanding the shape before you weave
Before any weaving begins, a skilled weaver reads the material and the pattern required — assessing strength, structure, and fit. Consultancy is this diagnostic strand: advisory work in curriculum, cultural capability, digital strategy, and community engagement — understanding an organisation's shape before recommending how it should be woven together.
Plan with Purpose, we outline a path forward that’s realistic, strategic, and tailored to your specific needs. Advisory grounded in curriculum, cultural capability, identifying business or organisational needs supported by digital strategy.
-

STRAND 2: Professional Learning & Mentoring
Teaching the Weave
Passing the technique hand to hand
Weaving is traditionally taught, not just done — knowledge passed through demonstration, correction, and practice alongside someone more experienced. This pillar is that transmission: PLD facilitation, ITE and PCT mentoring, and leadership development — building the skill and capability of others, not just delivering a finished product.
You are part of the process. We keep communication open and decisions shared—no surprises. Facilitation, design and mentoring for educators, staff or individuals at every study or career stage across a range of work spaces.
-

STRAND 3: Governance
Holding the Frame
The structure that keeps the weave taut and strong
A weave is only as good as the frame or foundation it's built on — without tension and structure, the pattern collapses. Governance is that frame: board and trustee advisory, culturally responsive governance, and the documentation that keeps organisations accountable and strong enough to hold their own weight.
Support for boards understanding that every team, project and organisation is different. We stay flexible and responsive to make sure the process fits your flow—not the other way around. Board and trustee advisory for charities, trusts, and community organisations.
-
STRAND 4: Events & Rental Hire
Weaving the Gathering
Where the finished weave is seen, worn, and celebrated
Woven work is made to be used — worn at gatherings, displayed at ceremonies, given as gifts of honour. This pillar is the gathering point: the events, cultural occasions, and physical equipment that bring people together to mark and celebrate what's been built.
events@tracisietu provides options for a variety of items ready for delivery to support productions, school, sports, cultural, church events, and community gatherings. When we deliver, it’s not just a finished product—it’s a solution you can trust, backed by real care and effort.
Integrity, creativity, and empathy shape the way we work. These aren't just words—they’re the foundation of everything we build. We believe in doing great work, building real relationships, and making it easy for you to get the results you’re looking for.
